Getachew Feleke, MDTuberculosis (TB) is preventable and treatable, yet it
remains the most important opportunistic infection in
HIV and AIDS. In this session, Dr. Getachew Feleke
will discuss components of TB prevention, including
the Three I’s: intensive case finding, isoniazid preventive
therapy, and infection control. He will also
highlight the rationale for the strategy, and discuss
challenges to implementation in resource-limited
settings.
