Cervical cancer prevention has evolved significantly during the last year. Currently PATH is using these in demonstration projects in three continents. Even though we are currently implementing programs in general population, these new screening tools open the possibility of changing the approach for cervical cancer prevention in special populations such as HIV infected women.
