TB: Part 3

This will be the third of a series of sessions dealing with the important issue of diagnosis and management of tuberculosis in persons with HIV infection. In this session, Dr Nolan will focus on why and how to prevent the occurrence of TB in HIV-infected persons. Subjects covered will include diagnosis of latent TB infection, tuberculosis preventive therapy with isoniazid and other drug regimens, and TB infection control practices in resource-limited settings.
