Dr. Walson is an Acting Instructor in the Department of Medicine at the University of Washington and a Visiting Scientist at the Kenya Medical Research Institute. He is trained as a pediatrician and internist and completed a fellowship in infectious diseases. Dr. Walson is currently conducting trials in Kenya to evaluate the role of helminths and malaria in HIV-1 disease progression.
