Dr. Gurusamy Manoharan is the Medical Director of the International Training and Education Center on HIV, India (I-TECH India). In this capacity, he has worked extensively in southern India and actively participated in the development of curricula for training Specialist physicians and Medical Officers in HIV care, including ART. He played a role in the development of Indian National guidelines on Anti retro viral therapy and OI management.

Dr. Manoharan was formerly Professor and Head of the Department of Medicine at Perundurai Medical College in southern Tamil Nadu in India.

He obtained his M.B.,B.S., and M.D., (General Medicine ) degrees at Madras University, Tamil Nadu. He is also a member of Association of Physicians of India and Indian Medical Association.
