Dr. Mathews is Professor of Clinical Medicine at
University of California, San Diego and Director of the UCSD Owen Clinic.  He is also site director for the San Diego
AIDS Education and Training Center (AETC) and has been working as a consultant for HRSA and
for I-TECH in South Africa since 2003.
