Dr. Nolan is Clinical Professor of Medicine at the University of Washington.He has worked in the control of tuberculosis in the U.S. andglobally for 25 years.  He served as chair of the Health and Human HumanServices Advisory Council for the Elimination of Tuberculosis from 1998-2003.Dr. Nolan's international public health experience includes providingoversight to the Gates Foundation on the CREATE Project, an $80 million grantto an international consortium to improve the control of TB and HIV/AIDS inSouth Africa, Zambia, and Brazil.  He has also been a member of the WHOGreen Light Committee for access to second line anti-tuberculosis drugs for MDR-TB.
